The Teacher's Edition provides easy instructions to teach grammar for understanding and to guide the teaching of writing using the Writing Process. Students plan, draft, revise, proofread, and publish eight different types of writing: compare-contrast essays, newspaper editorials, personal narratives, instructions, historical fiction, limericks, free verse, research reports, and cover letters for submitting work to a publisher. Rubrics are provided to help the teacher evaluate each type of writing.
